Rental Terms
These are the standard terms we rent on. Your written quote and signed rental agreement govern the specifics of your rental — where they differ from this page, they win. ADV Energy Rentals is a trading name of All-Day Ventures Limited, Bay 8, 6540 71 St, Red Deer, AB T4P 3Y7.
Rates and terms
- Every rental is quoted per unit and per job. A coordinator confirms the rate, the term and the dates in writing before anything leaves the yard. Nothing on this website is a price quote.
- Daily, weekly and monthly terms are available. What counts as a rental day depends on the unit — it is stated on your quote.
- Billing runs from the day the unit leaves the yard to the day it is returned or picked up, inclusive, regardless of hours actually run.
- Rates exclude GST, fuel, delivery, pickup and consumables unless the quote says otherwise.
Delivery and pickup
- We deliver with our own trucks and our own drivers across BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Delivery and pickup are quoted with the unit.
- Site access is the customer's responsibility. If the site cannot be reached and the truck has to wait or make a return trip, that time is billable.
- If you are picking up yourself, the hitch, the load and securement are on you.
Fuel
- The fuel level is recorded on the inspection sheet when the unit leaves the yard. Return it at the same level.
- If it comes back short, we fill it and bill the fuel.
- Scheduled fuel service on site is available — ask and we will quote it.
While the unit is on rent
The customer is responsible for:
- Running the equipment within manufacturer specification and the orientation our driver gives the crew at drop-off.
- Providing a stable, accessible spot for the unit.
- Daily checks — fluid levels and a walk-around.
- Securing the unit against theft, vandalism and unauthorized use.
- Keeping it on the delivery site. No relocating it, subletting it or handing it to a third party without our written consent.
Breakdowns, damage and loss
- Mechanical breakdown not caused by misuse is ours. Call 403-304-7706 or email John or Branden — john@advenergy.ca or branden@advenergy.ca — and we will repair or swap the unit.
- Normal wear and tear is expected and is not charged back.
- Damage beyond normal wear — tires, glass, mast and tower damage, fuel or water contamination, freeze damage, missing components — is billed at repair cost.
- If a unit is lost, stolen or written off, the customer is responsible for the cost of replacing it with an equivalent unit, plus rental charges through to settlement.
Insurance
For the full rental period the customer must carry:
- Commercial general liability of not less than $2,000,000 per occurrence.
- Equipment coverage on rented equipment to full replacement value.
- ADV Energy Rentals named as additional insured.
Send the certificate to accounts@advenergy.ca before dispatch.
Cancelling
- Cancel any time before the truck is loaded — no charge.
- Once a unit is loaded and rolling, the delivery charge is billable.
- Early return: rental charges stop the day the unit is back or picked up, subject to any minimum term on your quote.
Payment
- Net 30 on approved credit. Credit applications go to accounts@advenergy.ca.
- Prepayment until credit is approved.
- Overdue balances carry interest at 1.5% per month (18% per annum).
- PO and AFE numbers given at quote time carry through to the invoice.
Safety documentation
